The program is for parents who bring their young children to the beach, they can talk to the nearest lifeguard and get a matching colored wristband for their child.
Then, if their child goes missing, it will be easier to determine what part of the beach the childs’ family is at.
Parents should talk to a lifeguard as soon as they get to the beach if the beach is crowded or if they are concerned about their children getting lost
in a crowd of people on the beach or in the water. If you notice that your child is missing, inform a lifeguard as soon as possible to initiate a search for the child.
